IMPERIAL EMPRESS and MUSTANG VALLEY drew attention to their weekend prospects with nice work in separate gallops this morning. 

Galloping on a soft NO3 grass IMPERIAL EMPRESS travelled well under a decent hold from the 1000m running the concluding 600m in 41. She has plenty of natural ability and has the advantage of the inside gate in the R72 ENTAIN – NZB INSURANCE PEARL SERIES 1400m for fillies and mares at Ellerslie on Saturday.

MUSTANG VALLEY was sent 1400m covering the final 600m in 39.6. She has improved sharply since her bold fresh run. 

She steps up to 1600m on Saturdays NZEA NEW ZEALAND THOROROUGHBRED BREEDERS STAKES at Ellerslie and should be right in the finish. 

ARROWETTE prepared for Ellerslie race 8 SKYCITY HORIZON 1600 with a comfortable 1000m the final 600m in 42.6.

SPORTING CHANCE (Race 7 ELSDON PARK 2200) worked over 1400m the last 600m clocked in 40.

C’EST MOI (Race 1 Ellerslie) was timed from the 600m in 42.9.

BLISSFULL LADY (Race 8 Ellerslie) completed 1000m in 1.11.9 quickening from the 600m in 39.

QUEEN ZOU (Race 3 Ellerslie) returned 43.1 for the final 600m of easy work. 

MR MOJO RISIN’ and YALDI were paired over 1000m the concluding 600m in 39.8.

ON THE BACK SAND:

CANNON HILL (Race 1 Ellerslie) was kept under a strong hold over 600m run in 43.5. 

WIND OF CHANGE (Race 8 Ellerslie) was sent 1000m at three quarter pace, coming from the 600m in 42.8.

ROEDERER (Race 8 Ellerslie) ran the last 600m of 1000m in 42.5. 

RED SEA worked well over a solo 1000m sprinting the concluding 600m in 38.5.

RAZIAH and WIND RUSH were clocked from the 600m in 38.8.

DIMAGGIO strode 1200m the final 600m in 42.9.

RUDYARD followed over 1000m home in 39.

IMPENDABELLE sprinted 600m in 38.4. 

FRONT SAND:

SAINT BATHANS did well over 800m run in 51.9 the concluding 600m in 38.

SWEYNESDAY caught the eye with nice work over 1000m the final 600m in 38.5.

SHOW ME LOVE came in from the 600m in 39.8.

DODDLE (Race 7) prepared for Ellerslie with an easy 1000m home in 44.9.

MISS MARTINI (Race 5) who will also race at Ellerslie was sent an effortless 600m in 44.5.

TASAKI came to the end of 1000m in 1.11.4 and 41.

TEMPSFORD followed in 1.12.2 home in 41.3.

ZORZON was in good form over 1000m run in 1.8.4 finishing off in 39.2. 

HASSTOBEREEL cut a comfortable 1000m out in 1.10.2 and 40.4.
