DEEP BEAUTY looked ready to continue his impressive Te Rapa record when working in style this morning.
Galloping on the sand, DEEP BEAUTY looked in magnificent order when completing 1200m in 1:23.9, running the final 600m in 39.6. He has been runner-up in both resuming races and has won two from three starts on the course.
Last start winner ZEE FALLS was kept under a good hold throughout 1000m, completing the last 600m in 42.3. She looks well but has copped a wide draw at Te Rapa.
TIGHTLIGN worked in from the 600m in 43.1. He drops back in class this weekend but will also have to overcome an outside gate. ILLUMINATION was clocked from the 600m in 42.7.
WAIMOKU FALLS looked fit for Te Rapa when running the last 600m of 800m in 42.9. ONEOUTOFTHEBOX was given an easy 800m in 56.2. CONTEMPLATION came in from the 1000m in 1:12.3 and 42.
LOQUITA followed in 1.11, home in 41.2. JIMMY CHOUX|CALGARY strode 1000m in 1:12.1, home in 43.1. DIONYSUS left 1200m behind in 1.25, the 600m in 40.4. APOSTROPHE worked 1200m in 1.23 and 39.8.
PRINCEPESSA cut out 1200m in 1:24.1, the 600m in 39.5. HONEY HONEY returned 1.24 and 40.1 for 1200m. HE’S THE MAN ran an easy 1000m in 1:12.9, finishing with 600m in 42.
BUGATTI returned 43.5 from the 600m. SUMMER FESTIVAL ran the last 600m of 1000m in 43.
Working on the grass, LOOSE CANNON showed she could be one for odds at Te Rapa with nice work over 1000m in 1:12.4, the 600m in 42.3. PACKING JOY returned 55.3 and 40.9 for 800m.
JOY ALONE completed 1200m in 1.29 home in 42.8. ROBUSTO came to the end of 1200m in 1.28, finishing the final 600m in 43.
