Galloping on the plough, PROWESS was kept under a strong hold throughout 1400m, completing the last 600m in 40.1. She has improved sharply since her fresh up placing and her trainers are confident she will be hard to beat. MUSTANG VALLEY was also given a comfortable hit-out over 1200m in 1.26, coming from the 600m in 40.9. She should be competitive, especially if any rain about.
CONTEMPLATION caught the eye with nice work over 1400m, clocked in 1:33.5, sprinting the concluding 600m in 37.7.
GOOD OIL and SASSYNESS were in good form over 1400m in 1.34, the final 600m in 37.3.
RISING TIDE sprinted 600m in a smart 36.9.
DIMAGGIO left 1000m at three-quarter pace, quickening over the last 600m in 38.1.
