PIPING HOT caught the eye with encouraging work this morning.

Galloping on a perfect plough, PIPING HOT hit the end of 1200m full of running, completing the final 1000m in 1:6.1, sprinting in from the 600m in 37.2. He has been racing well recently and should be tough to beat next start.

HYPNOS worked nicely over 1400m in 1:34.4, completing the final 600m in 38. PERIGREE strode comfortably through 1000m in 1.13, home in 43.4.

SPRING DELIGHT looked bright when timed the last 600m of 1000m in 41.

CAKEBYTHEOCEAN returned 1:11.7 and 41. CONTEMPLATION ran 1000m in 1:11.2, finishing the concluding 600m in 41.2.

MADAM HASS was kept under a good hold throughout 1000m, the 600m in 44.3. MARRONI, who had no luck at Te Rapa last weekend, and FRONTMAN, were in good form from the 1000m in 1:8.7, coming home in 38.5.

TELEKINETIC and SWEET ANNA did well with 1200m, run in 1:21.1, sprinting in from the 600m in 38.3. TURN THE ACE had WHITE NOISE for a partner over an impressive 1200m clocked in 1.17, dashing the last 600m in 36.6.

OSO SAVVY and MARGARET JEAN completed the final 600m of 1400m in 42. RAPOSA RAPIDA was sent an easy 1200m, the final 600m in 42.7. RUN TO PERFECTION followed with similar work. STARRYBEEL ran 1400m in 1:38.9 home in 43.

ALL BLACK BOURBON worked 1300m in 1:24.5 and 42.1. APPELLANT was timed the last 600m of 1300 in 42. CHAKANA left 1200m behind in 1:26.3 home in 43.2.

Last start winner ULAANBAATAR ran the final 600m of 1400m in 41.9. SADLER’S CHICK and ZUPERB were on terms throughout 1000m, run in 1:11.4 and 41.9.

DRAKKAR and CURIOUS GEORGE worked well from the 800m in 51.3, the final 600m in 37.6.

AUBREE was timed from the 600m in 40.2. LA BELLA BEALS ran the final 600m of 1000m in 39.5.

MASETTO worked in from the 600m in 43.3. MEGA BOURBON ran a similar time. SEARCHLIGHT ran comfortably from the 1200m, the 600m in 40.7. PUYSEGUR was sent 1000m at three quarter pace.

JIMMY CHOUX|CALGARY strode 1000m in 1:11.4 and 41.9. CHARM SPIRIT|ALLEYRUN, CHURCHILL| ASTRID and CHARM SPIRIT|AJOURNE were timed 600m in 42.1. ALMANZOR|KEEPA CHEVAL and PACIFIC DRAGON sprinted 600m in 37.3.

PROISIR|PENNIES IN HEAVEN and SHENANDOAH did well over 600m in 37.2. COMPLACENT|SHELLY BEE and WROTE|TOLD YOU SO cut out the 600m in 38.3.

REMIX and HONEY HONEY strode 1000m in 1.10.3 home in 40. BRAZEN BEAU|SEW IT SEAMS and DIVINE PROPHET|SIDERIUS NUCIUS were given an easy 800m, the 600m in 41.1. CAMINATA and SHINING PEAK left 1000m behind in 1:9.4 and 39.3.

NOT GUILTY and LADY KIPLING cut out 600m in 48.1.
