SPRING DELIGHT, who will race at Matamata this Saturday, enhanced her chances with nice work on the plough.

Sent 1100m, SPRING DELIGHT completed her last 1000m in 1.9, sprinting the final 600m in 39.1. She ran on well for third at her most recent start and although it's been a while between drinks, she looks fit and ready to produce her best form.

TWO ILLICIT looked bright when sent 1200m in a comfortable 1.30, running the last 600m in 43.5. She heads to Trentham for the Rydges Wellington Captain Cook Stakes and from an inside barrier draw should be hard to beat.

CONCERT HALL strode 1400m in 1:41.9, the concluding 600m in 41.9.

SWEET ANNA looked fit for weekend racing when working in from the 1000m in 1.12 and 40.9.

ASSERTIVE NATURE followed excellent Tuesday morning work with an easy 1000m in 1.13, coming home in 43.1

ROBUSTO cut out 1200m in 1:25.3 and 41. CAERUS left 1400m behind in 1:43.9, the final 600m in 42.6. BANKERS CHOICE returned 1.12 and 42.4 for 1000m.

MARRONI followed in 1:13.2 and 42.5. WESSEX was not after time when clocked 600m in 45. She has won her only start and is a value runner in Saturday’s Group II Pete’s Joinery Wakefield Challenge Stakes for two-year-olds.

On the poly-track:

DARK SATIN was given an easy time over 1000m, completing the final 600m in 40. RIVER RUN was sent a comfortable 1400m, the concluding 600m in 41.1. FOUR QUEENS completed 1200m in 1:26.5 home in 41.2.
