PINION drew attention to his Te Rapa prospects with nice final work.

Working on the back sand, on a morning when fog prevented the timing of many gallops, PINION looked close to peak fitness when striding 1000m, completing the final 600m in 49.1.

He has run two encouraging races this time in and looks a good winning chance this weekend.
